To get an understanding of the way in which radio stations present their news and adressing their audience, I have listened to a certain station such as LBC to see how their news bullitins are presented and the conventions of them.
On LBC, after the news jingle is played the presenter in a certain characteristic of tone addresses the selected audience will introduce the stories for the running time.
The correspondant than carries on the story after the presenter introduces them. then a voxpop will be played of a chartacter from the public.
